Fort Oglethorpe Fire & Rescue Operations Division provides fire protection, rescue capabilities, and basic emergency medical service to the citizens of Fort Oglethorpe and the Western portion of unincorporated Catoosa County. These areas include the communities of Lakeview, Westside, Duncan Park and Boynton.

With staffing of 70+ volunteer personnel and 5 career firefighters manning 3 fire stations, personnel answer in excess of 1300 calls for service each year.

All personnel are trained to meet or exceed the requirements to meet Georgia Basic Firefighter Certification.
